Brilliant and Roomans will manage the business together throughout 2014 and Brilliant will become the sole CEO in 2015. In his new role as managing director of research strategy, Serhan will focus on research and analysis on Asia-Pacific securities markets, economic and financial trends, and investment themes. He also previously served as managing director of Ibbotson Associates Australia, a Morningstar firm. The company established its business in Australia and New Zealand in 1999. Ibbotson, a part of its investment management group, provides asset allocation, manager selection and portfolio construction services to superannuation funds, institutions and financial planners.
